LulzSec claims hack into Arizona Department of Public Safety

The hacker group LulzSec released hundreds of documents it claims belong to Arizona’s Department of Public Safety along with the names, emails and passwords of at least seven people involved with the law enforcement agency.
The group, which had been uncharacteristicly quiet for nearly two days, posted a file containing the documents on the file-sharing website the Pirate Bay on Thursday afternoon.
‘We are targeting AZDPS specifically because we are against SB1070,’ the group said in a news release. SB1070 is an anti-illegal immigration measure approved by Arizona’s legislature and governor.
The documents, which LulzSec says were for internal use only, appears to be the group’s first action since it joined forces with Anonymous, an Internet activist group, and called on all hackers to help it take on governments and other institutions to release classified information Sunday, under what it called Operation Anti-Security.
‘Hackers of the world are uniting and taking direct action against our common oppressors -- the government, corporations, police, and militaries of the world,’ the group said. ‘See you again real soon! ;D’
The group said it plans once-a-week releases of documents similiar to those it got from the Arizona agency. It did not say where the documents came from or what they were.
