CES: Trojan brings a different kind of software and hardware

There was plenty to see at the Digital Experiences showcase Wednesday night at CES: Flatscreens galore. Digital cameras. Smartphones. A big silver bowl full of condoms.

Back up. Why were Trojan representatives at a show about consumer electronics?

Spokesman Michael P. Bruno said it best: “We’ve got software, hardware, virus protection and personal assistance. We’ve got innovation designed to bring people pleasure.”

Maybe more to the point: Trojan was revealing a trio of vibrators that it had under wraps, aptly named Tri-Phoria, Pulse and Twister. The products went through years of, er, technological testing, Bruno said.

In the end, if you think about it, Trojan wasn’t really all that out of place. After all, there were women strolling around dressed like aliens.
