December 17, 2010 | 10:03 am

Friday is Free Shipping Day on the Web.  Free-shipping-day

Online retailers across the nation are willing to deliver some or all of their items to consumers by Christmas Eve for free.

The organizers of Free Shipping Day said they were able to persuade 1,754 stores and websites to participate in the event.

It began at midnight EST on Friday and ends at midnight EST Saturday.

If you’re still looking for gifts and hoping save some money, take a look at the deals here.

Sears is offering free shipping on orders more than $99. Macy's has the same bargain, plus 15-20% off select items. And Best Buy said the free-delivery deal is good for "hundreds of thousands of items."

It's the third consecutive year of Free Shipping Day. Last year, more than 750 merchants participated.
