Web 2.0 Summit spoofed in 'Don't stop competing' video

November 17, 2010 | 10:53 am

Can't Internet companies just get along?

That's the plea from organizers of this year's Web 2.0 Summit which focused on the warring factions (think Facebook versus Google, Google versus Apple, Apple versus the world). John Battelle and Tim O'Reilly used a map to show the land grabs.

So it was only a matter of time before the spoof video played Web 2.0: "Don't stop competing" to the tune of Journey's "Don't stop believin'." Hat tip to Kara Swisher.

"Oh the skirmish never ends/It goes on and on and on and on."

Indeed.
