Lindsay Lohan was blogging a lot over the summer and into the fall but, like so many people, seems to have fallen into a postelection Internet rut.

But she did post two blog entries to her MySpace page last night.

The extremely short one was entitled ‘oy vey! rumors..’ and addressed the recent reports that she and Samantha Ronson have been having relationship-ending problems. (There’s been some public fighting that has, in the natural way of things, turned into public gossip.)

This is the post in its entirety:

just to clear this up.. because i have been getting a lot of emails asking me this one question. samantha ronson and lindsay lohan (me) are NOT breaking up :) take care xxLL

In the ‘Currently Listening’ section of the blog, she listed ‘Happy Together’ by the Turtles.

Her much longer post Monday night, which was more in the ranting style her reader fans are used to, was about being locked out of her Facebook page. In a blog entry entitled ‘Upset with Facebook,’ Lohan said that because Facebook thought she was an impostor, her account had been temporarily disabled. (In the spring, Gawker reported that Lohan is registered on Facebook under the name ‘Lindsay Ronson.’)

‘i was in shock,’ she wrote about the recent lockout. ‘at first i laughed, and then i got angry. angry because, with ALL the people that PRETEND to be me on facebook, they decide to say I AM THE FAKE- of myself. all i can think is, WHO is running this site?’

(A commenter pointed out, perhaps fairly, that, ‘well duh you were using a fake name... so in a way, you were being fake.’)

So it was that Lindsay Lohan entered the ongoing, brutal MySpace versus Facebook debate. And she also continued to address her public directly about her lady relationship, rather than letting the gossip press tell the story for her.

To be continued, surely.
