Mark Milian is a Los Angeles Times staff writer, covering technology, music and travel. As a member of the 2008 summer internship program, he helped coordinate online social media for the Times website.

Before that he wrote for blogs and two N.J. newspapers. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in online journalism from the University of Maryland in 2009.
