Stanford is No. 2, UCLA is No. 14 in preseason baseball rankings

Florida is No. 1, Stanford No. 2 and UCLA No. 14 in Baseball America magazine’s preseason college baseball top-25 rankings.

Cal State Fullerton barely made the list, coming in at No. 25.

UCLA must replace first-round draft picks Gerrit Cole and Trevor Bauer, who helped the Bruins reach the 2010 World Series with their pitching skills.

Sophomore Adam Plutko is expected to take over as the Bruins’ ace.

There are five Pac-12 teams in the top 25. Besides Stanford and UCLA, Arizona is ranked No. 5, Arizona State is No. 17 and Oregon State is No. 23.
