The Oakland Raiders are on the verge of sending a pair of first-round draft picks to Cincinnati for disgruntled quarterback Carson Palmer, according to multiple sources.

Raiders starting quarterback Jason Campbell suffered a broken collarbone against Cleveland on Sunday, an injury many feel might end his season (although Campbell was saying Monday he could be back in six weeks). Backup Kyle Boller and rookie Terrelle Pryor are the only other quarterbacks on the Raiders’ rosters.

What do you think of a trade for Palmer? Would the Raiders be giving up too much, especially if there’s a chance Campbell can return before the end of the season? Or do the 4-2 Raiders need to make a move now to remain in the playoff hunt?
