October 14, 2011 | 12:33 pm

Angels shortstop Erick Aybar and catcher Jeff Mathis will be part of a major league all-star team that will travel to Taiwan next month to play the Chinese Taipei national team in the 2011 Taiwan All-Star Series.

The preliminary MLB roster for the five-game series also includes Curtis Granderson and Robinson Cano of the New York Yankees and American League batting champion Miguel Cabrera of the Detroit Tigers. Dodgers pitching coach Rick Honeycutt will be part of the coaching staff for San Francisco Giants Manager Bruce Bochy.

At least half a dozen more players will be added to the roster in the coming weeks.
