Final weekend could dramatically change NHL Western Conference playoff matchups

The Kings and Ducks will finish their respective seasons with a home-and-home series Friday and Saturday, but their playoff fates might not be determined until Sunday’s games around the NHL.

Here’s the remaining schedule for the West contenders, including the tiebreaker that was adopted for this season. The first tiebreaker is now the number of wins for each team minus its number of shootout wins. In the NHL standings at the league’s website, the abbreviation is ROW (regulation and OT wins).
