Second-round leader Jiyai Shin of South Korea and Sandra Gal of Germany are tied at 14 under par and are five shots clear of the rest of the field as they’ve both played 11 holes of the third round of the Kia Classic.

Shin, who is 5 feet 1, is two under today at Industry Hills and Gal, who is six feet tall, is three under. The biggest move of the day has been made by Na Yeon Choi, who began the round tied for 21st. Her just-completed third-round score of eight-under 65 leaves her at nine under. I.K. Kim, like Shin and Choi from South Korea, is also at nine-under through 11 holes.

The top American is Paige Mackenzie at six under.
