Now what?

Surely, Denver won’t be done after Monday night’s three-team deal that finally ended the long Carmelo Anthony saga. And that’s where the Clippers could come into the equation before the Thursday trade deadline, with interest in small forward Danilo Gallinari or, possibly, small forward Wilson Chandler.

A league source said the situation would be clarified after the trade call on Tuesday and more is learned about what the Nuggets plan or want to do with their newly acquired pieces. The source, who was not authorized to speak publicly, said that the timing of the Anthony deal made it clear the Nuggets were far from finished.

Gallinari will be a restricted free agent after next season and Chandler will be a restricted free agent after this season.
