The most popular T-shirt in San Francisco might be the one that reads ‘Fear the Beard,’ in reference to the jet-black beard on the face of Giants closer Brian Wilson.

As the Angels advanced to the 2002 World Series, Scott Spiezio dyed his beard in the team color of red. The Giants’ colors are black and orange, but Wilson said he would not be sporting an orange beard for the World Series.
