Nevada reportedly set to join Fresno State in Mountain West Conference

This has all come together in a matter of hours, but Reno Journal Gazette is reporting Nevada is also leaving the Western Athletic Conference for the Mountain West. The Fresno Bee reported earlier that Fresno State had already accepted an invitation.
Mountain West Commissioner Craig Thompson has scheduled a teleconference with reporters at 8:15 tonight. WAC Commissioner Karl Benson has thus far been unavailable for comment.
