The lighting at Angel Stadium has been fixed.

A connection on one of the control wires to the main power panel at a bank of lights on the first base side had come loose, the team said. The control wire sends voltage to large contactors, closing them in order to switch the actual power to the lights.

The bank of lights went out in the seventh inning of Thursday night’s game with the Dodgers. The umpiring crew pulled everyone off the field and met with managers Mike Scioscia and Joe Torre. In the end, they decided the game could go on without that bank of lights.

The game was delayed 18 minutes and the Angels, who had been losing 8-4 at the time of the outage, still lost, 10-6.
