Angels put Izturis on DL

The Angels just announced that infielder Maicer Izturis has been put on the disabled list because of a strained left forearm. They will replace him on the roster with infielder Robb Quinlan, who had been optioned to triple-A Salt Lake earlier today but had not left.

This marks Izturis’ eighth stint on the disabled list since joining the Angels in 2005.
