Angels recall Sean O’Sullivan; Robb Quinlan is optioned to Salt Lake

The Angels, in need of pitching help, optioned infielder Robb Quinlan to triple-A Salt Lake and recalled right-hander Sean O’Sullivan from Salt Lake.

The Angels are awaiting a Friday examination of injured shortstop Erick Aybar before deciding whether to put him on the disabled list.
