Bakersfield driver credited with NASCAR K&N Pro Series West win at Iowa Speedway

David Mayhew, a driver from Bakersfield, was the fifth-place driver in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series race at Iowa Speedway on Sunday, finishing behind four rookie drivers from the East Series.

Mayhew was credited with a win as the highest-finishing driver from the West Series. It was his third win in a row at Iowa Speedway. He also took over the lead in the West Series standings. He has a 57-point edge over Eric Holmes, a two-time West Series champ.

Max Gresham, a 17-year-old rookie in the East Series, won the race. It was his second win in a row in the East Series.
