Because the NFL draft is beginning on Thursday night instead of its usual Saturday morning, and because it is beginning at 4:30 p.m. PDT so it can start in TV prime time on the East Coast, and because some of you draft followers might not be able to check out work early enough to be in front of a television Thursday, you could listen on satellite radio.

If you’re stuck in traffic and have either XM or Sirius in your car, you can tune in for full draft coverage on your ride home.

The coverage (on Channel 124 on both services) will feature Gil Brandt, former Dallas Cowboys vice president of player personnel; Pat Kirwan, a former NFL scout; Tim Ryan, former Chicago Bears defensive lineman and two-time USC All-American; and Sirius NFL radio voice Adam Schein.

It’s easy to forget all the channels you’ve got if you have satellite radio. So consider this your reminder, draft fans.
