Clippers’ point guard Baron Davis won’t be on the team’s final extended road trip of the season, which starts tonight at Milwaukee and moves on to Toronto on Wednesday and Denver on Saturday.

(The Clippers do have one more road game after this trip but it’s a one-shot deal up to Sacramento on April 8)

Davis is suffering from back spasms.

He played 38-plus minutes on Sunday in the Clippers’ 121-103 loss to Golden State, scoring 18 points and adding seven assists. Backup point guard Steve Blake sprained his ankle in the first quarter but later returned to the game.

Davis, who has been surprisingly durable this season, is averaging 15.2 points and 7.9 assists.
