Remember Lane Kiffin’s introductory news conference at USC?

Back then, oh, less than a month ago, he said, ‘We don’t need to go out and grab attention because we have it.’

Kiffin created a stir Thursday when he offered a scholarship to and accepted a verbal commitment from quarterback David Sills, a 13-year-old seventh-grader from Delaware.
