It seems such a simple question, given that only 12 NFL teams are in the playoffs. Of course, anyone who has actually tried to pick the winner knows how tough it is.

So who will win next month’s Super Bowl?

According to the betting site beted.com, Peyton Manning and his Indianapolis Colts are the favorite, followed by the San Diego Chargers, the New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings.

The New England Patriots, who are aging and ailing, are the sixth favorite. The Philadelphia Eagles, who were high on many fans’ lists before last weekend’s beating at Dallas, have dropped to the seventh pick. Meanwhile, former USC wunderkind Mark Sanchez and his New York Jets bring up the rear at 40-1 odds to win the Super Bowl.
