The Clippers were tied with the Portland Trail Blazers, 45-45, at halftime tonight at the Staples Center after the Clippers spent much of the second quarter beating themselves.

The Clippers had a whopping 13 turnovers in the half but remained close to Portland thanks to 10 points from guard Baron Davis and stout defense from forward Marcus Camby, who had two blocked shots and eight rebounds in the half.

Martell Webster led the Trail Blazers with 17 points and Juwan Howard had 12.

It was the teams’ second meeting in less than a week. Despite a rash of injuries, the Trail Blazers still beat the Clippers, 103-99, last Wednesday in Portland.
