The Lakers were honored as the best franchise for winning four NBA titles and for reaching the NBA Finals six times.

The 2000-01 Lakers team was voted the best single-season team for going 15-1 in the playoffs en route to the championship.

Lakers guard Kobe Bryant was named to the all-decade team.

The top signature play belonged to Robert Horry. It was his game-winning, buzzer-beating three-pointer in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals against the Sacramento Kings.
