The Ducks got closer to their opening-night roster by making four player moves Saturday.

They assigned left wing Ryan Donally and goaltender Justin Pogge to San Antonio of the American Hockey League and released defenseman Jassen Cullimore and winger Kyle Calder from their tryouts. With only one exhibition game left, Sunday at the Honda Center against the Kings, the Ducks have 16 forwards, eight defensemen and two goaltenders on their roster. They must be down to 23 by noon Pacific Time on Wednesday.
