The Lakers will play the Golden State Warriors in a 7 p.m. preseason game Oct. 9 at the Forum in Inglewood, the team announced today.

That is part of the team’s promotional efforts highlighting the organization’s 50th anniversary in Los Angeles. The Lakers played in the Forum from 1967 to 1999 and won six NBA championships during that time (1972, 1980, 1982, 1985, 1987 and 1988).

The recently added game rounds out a schedule that also features two 7:30 p.m. games at Staples Center (Charlotte Bobcats Oct. 17, Clippers or Utah Jazz Oct. 18) and two 7 p.m. games at the Honda Center in Anaheim (Warriors Oct. 7, Denver Nuggets Oct. 22).

The rest of the Lakers’ schedule includes 7 p.m. games against the Sacramento Kings (Oct. 15 at Las Vegas’ Thomas & Mack Center), Golden State (Oct. 20 in Citizens Bank Arena) and Denver (Oct. 23 in San Diego’s Sports Arena).

Tickets for the preseason game at the Forum game go on sale Aug. 12 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster outlets and through 1-800-4-NBA-TIXS. Tickets are priced at $13, $24, $34, $40, $58, $85.50, $103 and $133.
