ESPN and Fox Prime, double TV choice for Dodgers game tonight

July 27, 2009 |  2:11 pm

Orel_240 Tonight's Dodgers at St. Louis game is scheduled for both Fox Prime Ticket and, nationally, ESPN at 4 p.m.

It will be available on both networks, so local viewers can listen to Dodgers TV broadcasters Eric Collins and Steve Lyons (Vin Scully doesn't travel to cities outside the NL West) and also check out an ESPN experiment.

Analysts Orel Hershiser and Steve Phillips will do their work from field level in camera wells next to the dugouts while Dan Shulman will call play-by-play from the booth. Have to give ESPN credit. The sports cable network isn't afraid to try something new.
