Manny Ramirez wants to return to Cleveland Indians someday, maybe

Jon Weisman from Dodger Thoughts blogged about it today, Manny Ramirez telling USA Today’s Bob Nightengale that he would like to return to the Cleveland Indians before he retires.

It didn’t seem like an early start to negotiations for next year’s contract with the Dodgers, just a nice thought about somewhere he played and liked.

He made that point clear when he told Nightengale, ‘I love L.A. I really do. But the way they responded to me, it reminded me a lot of how it was in Cleveland.’’

Now there’s a rare comparison to Cleveland that isn’t a punch line.
