History could be made today at Hollywood Park, where jockey Rafael Bejarano has won five of the first seven races of the $1.3-million California Gold Rush program.
The record for most victories by a jockey at Hollywood Park in one day is six by Bill Shoemaker, Laffit Pincay Jr. and Kent Desormeaux.
And Bejarano has live mounts in the remaining three races on the card.
