Kevin Love always said that he wanted to get into broadcasting. He’s starting off with an infomercial.

Even with the whiskered resemblance, Love is no Billy Mays. But I’ll take him in a pitch-off against Vince Offer any day.

This video is part of a larger rookie-of-the-year campaign launched by the Minnesota Timberwolves for their new forward/center. The site has a number of impressive facts -- far more ‘bam’ than ‘bust.’

Last year at UCLA, Love was a no-brainer selection for Pac-10 freshman of the year (heck, he was the league’s player-of-the-year). He faces stiffer competition for this award, with Derrick Rose and O.J. Mayo considered the front-runners (there’s also some love for Eric Gordon, as Jerry Crowe found out).
