Arizona State got 19 [update] second-half points from James Harden and defeated Arizona, 68-56, in the Pacific 10 Conference tournament Thursday.

The loss puts Arizona’s streak of consecutive NCAA tournament appearances in jeopardy. The Wildcats, who have been to 24 consecutive tournaments, have a 19-13 record, with quality wins over Kansas and Gonzaga. Whether that is a hefty enough resume to get them in will be seen Sunday.

Arizona State fans were casting their vote, chanting, ‘NIT, NIT, NIT’ at Arizona players as the clock ran down.
