Ex-Clippers star Elton Brand’s first season with the Philadelphia 76ers appears to be over.

ESPN is reporting that Brand will have surgery on his injured shoulder on Monday and won’t play again this season. Brand, who spurned the Clippers last summer and jumped to Philly as a free agent in an $80-million deal, dislocated his shoulder early this season.

He was injured in December, missed 16 games, and returned two weeks ago. In that span he played in six games and averaged a paltry 5.7 points and 4.7 rebounds.
