LAS VEGAS -– Back in Los Angeles, Clayton Kershaw and James McDonald are taking part in a Dodgers strength and conditioning camp that will run through Saturday. Delwyn Young, who is recovering from off-season elbow surgery and won’t be able to throw a baseball until next month, is also participating.

The camp is being held at Dodger Stadium and is run by strength coach Brendon Huttman. Also attending the camp are minor leaguers pick Chris Withrow, the Dodgers’ 2007 first-round draft pick; outfielder Trayvon Robinson; infielder Devaris Strange-Gordon; pitchers Justin Miller, Nathan Eovaldi, Jon Redding, Matt Sartor and Kyle Smit, and outfielder Kyle Russell.
