Clippers get their Randolph deal done

Finally, that puff of white smoke emerged from the Clippers’ training facility at Playa Vista at 1:06 p.m.

Kidding aside, the four-player deal between the Knicks and the Clippers was officially completed. It came down with the Clippers in the middle of practice and Zach Randolph and Mardy Collins sitting on the sideline, unable to take part until the trade was approved.

The Knicks, who acquired Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley in the deal, had until 3:30 p.m. to sign off. The holdup had to do with the Knicks’ concerns about Mobley’s heart condition.
