Landon Donovan, Bianca Kajlich to Bayern Munich?

November 11, 2008 |  8:30 pm

Landon Donovan He has scored 98 goals in eight seasons in Major League Soccer and has won three MLS titles.

He is the all-time leading goal scorer in U.S. national team history.

On Tuesday, he was selected Futbol de Primera's Honda Player of the Year for a record fifth time.

What more is there for the Galaxy's Landon Donovan to prove on this side of the Atlantic? The answer is a loud and resounding NOTHING!! For more along these lines, check out the story at The Times online.

Donovan must feel the same way because he will be in Germany this week and next, trying to show Bayern Munich Coach Juergen Klinsmann that he can cut it in the Bundesliga. The Galaxy claims he is there only to train. But for what? The MLS off-season? Nonsense.

Donovan is there to try out, and the questions that arise (and which you can answer) are:

Is Bayern Munich the right club?

Is Germany the right league?

Which would be better?

Winners get a link to actress Bianca Kajlich, also known as Mrs. Donovan. Oh, what the heck, here it is.
