Times staff writer Diane Pucin is a lifelong Cubs fan and can’t imagine how it would feel if they won a World Series because, of course, it hasn’t happened in her lifetime.
Or her father’s. He’s 82.
Yet, as the Cubs take on the Dodgers at Wrigley field as we speak, she isn’t watching. Let her explain.
