We’re not alone in thinking that Frank Caliendo, whose new show starts on TBS on Oct. 21, has become the most visible man during the baseball telecasts. A number of media critics are talking about the seemingly omnipresent Caliendo -- and not really liking it.

Caliendo is a very funny comedian, but, come on. Enough is enough. At least that’s what they’re saying about Caliendo in Dallas, where TV columnist Barry Horn also makes the point that Fox should invite Vin Scully into the booth for the NLCS. Now there’s an idea we can endorse.

Or at least perhaps Caliendo -- did you know his new show starts on Oct. 21 on TBS? -- could imitate Scully.

The most searing commentary, as is often the case on sports media, comes from the New York Post’s Phil Mushnick, who sees Caliendo coming and going.

He even has a funny line about Caliendo as Bugs Bunny.
