Like, dancing on the star, rather than with the stars

So, like, some of the Dallas Cowboys are, like, so totally mad that some of the Washington Redskins, like, danced on the precious blue star on their Texas Stadium field after Sunday’s 26-24 upset victory.

And, like, this reminds me soooooo much of that day in 2000 when Terrell Owens played for the 49ers and danced on the star and, like, the Cowboys got so insulted about this assault on their interior decorating that when Owens tried it again, George Teague blindsided him and upheld the decorative honor.

And this like totally reminds me of just about every day if not every hour of high school, and also of the day in 2002 when I was in the Florida State locker room interviewing players, and as I walked out I blindly tread across the Seminole head sewn into the carpet, and, like, one of the towel boys pulled me aside and said I shouldn’t have done that, and if the players saw it, they might’ve grabbed me and like shorn off my hair or something.

And this like makes me realize that football players pretend they’re rugged and all but quite often seem just really sensitive to the point of catty.
