CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
pulls Stokes and Russell (George Eads, left, and Ted Danson) and colleagues into the world of off-road truck racing on “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” at 10 p.m. on CBS.


American Idol:
 The British are coming, or at least their music is, in this new episode of the singing competition (8 p.m. Fox).

 George and Eden (Jeremy Sisto, Alicia Silverstone) are getting serious about each other, so George introduces her to Tessa (Jane Levy). Alan Tudyk, Ana Gasteyer and Gillian Vigman also star in this new episode (8:30 p.m. ABC).

Kitchen Cousins:
 A Los Angeles shoe designer needs help remodeling the kitchen of her bungalow in the premiere of this new home improvement series (8:30 p.m. HGTV).

Rock Center With Brian Williams:
 This new episode, from inside the White House Situation Room, provides details on the mission that targeted Osama bin Laden (9 p.m. NBC).

The media grow more hostile as Daniel’s (Josh Bowman) release date draws closer. Emily VanCamp and Madeleine Stowe also star in this new episode (10 p.m. ABC).

America Revealed:
In this new episode, host Yul Kwon reexamines perceptions of American manufacturing by introducing the men and women who are working within the system, including steelworkers adapting to recycling, engineers who are reinventing the microchip and the founders of a company that makes personalized robots (10 p.m. KOCE).

Hot in Cleveland:
In this new episode, the women (Wendie Malick, Jane Leeves, Valerie Bertinelli) try to get their friend Courtney (Kristin Chenoweth) to reconcile with her boyfriend (Jonathan Silverman), who’s also their dermatologist. Josh Cribbs of the Cleveland Browns also stars (10 p.m. TV Land).


The Dodgers visit the Colorado Rockies (noon FS Prime); the Baltimore Orioles visit the New York Yankees (4 p.m. ESPN); the Chicago Cubs visit the Cincinnati Reds (4 p.m. WGN A); the Minnesota Twins visit the Angels (7 p.m. FSN).

NBA Playoffs: The Utah Jazz visits the San Antonio Spurs (4 p.m. TNT); the Clippers visit the Memphis Grizzlies (6:30 p.m. FS Prime and TNT).
