CBS has renewed daytime talk show ‘The Talk’ for a third season.

The female chat jamboree will return for its third year in September with its current lineup -- the days of musical chairs is over. The show, hosted by Julie Chen (who moonlights as the wife of network President Les Moonves) with Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler, had gone through some shuffling since its debut. Former hosts Leah Remini and Holly Robinson-Peete -- part of the original lineup -- were axed from the show last fall and replaced by Underwood and Tyler. And special correspondent Marissa Jaret Winokur was let go last January.

The show is averaging just over 2 million viewers this season.
