Jimmy Fallon challenges Michelle Obama to potato sack race [Video]

Jimmy Fallon and Michelle Obama

One by one, First Lady Michelle Obama is besting America's talk show hosts in feats of physical fitness, all in the name of her "Let's Move" initiative. Her latest victim: Jimmy Fallon.

On Tuesday night, Fallon aired a segment on "Late Night" in which he visited the White House to challenge Obama in a series of events, including push-ups, tug-of-war, hula hooping and potato sack racing. It all came about because of a speech the first lady gave in which she said she was "pretty much willing to make a complete fool out of myself to get our kids moving."

Inspired, Fallon told the crowd, "I make a fool of myself every night, so I decided to go down there and help the first lady out."

The short comedy bit, filmed in the White House, allowed Obama to show off just how physically fit she is (she also puts on a mean hula hoop face).

It should come as no surprise that Obama was the victor, beating Fallon even in the potato sack race, which the host claimed was "my event."

Despite the thrashing on national TV, Fallon seemed thrilled just to be at the White House, a thrill shared by the first lady apparently. "When we were off camera, I really was that excited," Fallon told his audience. "She was like, 'Yeah, I know! This is the White House!' She matched my excitement!"

Last week, Obama appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and gave a similar smackdown to DeGeneres, besting the daytime talk-show host 25 push-ups to 20.

Are there any other talk-show hosts willing to rise to the Obama challenge?
