ABC delayed the return of ‘Cougar Town’ for so long that fans of the cult comedy favorite starring Courteney Cox started to get nervous. But the network on Tuesday finally announced a Season 3 premiere date: Feb. 14, also known as Valentine’s Day. It’ll slip into the 8:30 p.m. Tuesday slot briefly occupied by the short-lived cross-dressing comedy ‘Work It.’

Showrunner Bill Lawrence organized viewing parties around the country hoping to kickstart grassroots support for the show. He also openly discussed changing the show’s name in the hope of improving mediocre ratings, though it looks like ABC is sticking with the series’ original title.

Lawrence happily tweeted about the romantic premiere date today: ‘Cougar Town is back. Valentine’s day. Big show changing episode. Stay in, watch, and I’ll send you a bottle of wine.’ In case fans didn’t take him seriously, he reiterated: ‘Serious about wine. Trying to obtain a wine sponsor to send out free vino to whoever stays in V-day and watches CT. Stay tuned.’
