ABC announces midseason premiere dates

ABC has announced the premiere dates for its midseason series, including the return of ‘Wipeout,’ which will replace the canceled ‘Charlie’s Angels.’

‘Work It,’ a comedy about two men who dress up as women to get jobs, will debut on Jan. 3 at 8:30 p.m., followed by ‘Celebrity Wife Swap’ at 9 p.m.

‘Wipeout — Winter Wipeout’ will premiere on Jan. 5 at 8 p.m.

The reality/inventor series ‘Shark Tank’ will return on Feb. 3 at 8 p.m.

‘The River,’ a drama about a search-and-rescue mission in the uncharted Amazon, will premiere on Feb. 7 at 9 p.m.

‘GCB,’ a comedy about a Dallas ‘mean girl’ who is forced to move home after her marriage ends in disgrace, will launch on March 4 at 10 p.m.

‘Missing,’ which stars Ashley Judd as a mother who travels to Europe to track down her missing son, launches on March 15 at 8 p.m.

‘Cougar Town,’ along with the new series ‘Don’t Trust the Bitch in Apt. 23’ and ‘Scandal,’ will appear on the prime-time schedule at a later date.
