Paula’s Best Dishes: In this new cooking show, Southern chef Paula Deen rescues viewer recipes and shares kitchen traditions (10:30 a.m. Food).

Austin City Limits: The Decemberists highlight songs from “The King Is Dead” and Gillian Welch and David Rawlings perform tracks from “The Harrow & the Harvest” in this new episode (11 p.m. KOCE). A second episode follows at midnight featuring Widespread Panic.

MOVIES

An American in Paris: Songs by George and Ira Gershwin underscore this 1951 tale of an artist caught between two women in postwar Paris. The thin story is merely an excuse for director Vincente Minnelli and choreographer-dancer-actor Gene Kelly to dazzle viewers (5 p.m. TCM).

Fred 2: Night of the Living Fred: A teen tries to convince everyone that his neighbor is a vampire in this new TV movie starring Lucas Cruikshank and Ariel Winter (8 p.m. Nickelodeon).

Oliver’s Ghost: Young Oliver (Nicholas Stargel) moves to the suburbs with his family and meets the spirit of his new home’s previous owner (Martin Mull), who’s not going to let his own death force him to leave. Rhea Perlman and Cameron Daddo also stars in this new family tale (9 and 11 p.m. Hallmark).
