Matthew Morrison, watch out: Jonah Hill’s got his eye on you.

On most nights, late-night television is a platform for cautious, bland self-promotion by tediously well-behaved celebrities. But every so often, things go a little off-script. Such was the case on Wednesday, when Hill made a memorably candid appearance on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.’ Ostensibly Hill was there to promote his new movie ‘Moneyball,’ but what he really, really wanted to talk about was his dislike of the ‘Glee’ star.

It all began at the Fox upfront presentations this spring. After an awkward exchange with Randy Jackson and Michael Clarke Duncan, Hill was feeling very out of place -- like ‘the new kid at the Fox high school,’ as he put it -- and so he was relieved when his friend Zooey Deschanel started talking to him.

That didn’t last for long.

A Fox executive shushed Hill and then, adding insult to injury, Morrison chimed in, ‘He goes, ‘Yeah, Jonah can’t you stop talking for a second?’ This dude from ‘Glee’ calls me out. Green Mile’s laughing, like ‘Ha ha, I’m a clown,’ ‘ Hill recalled, seething with rage.

Not long after, Hill was begrudgingly attending an industry party where he spotted arch-nemesis Morrison talking to ‘Gossip Girl’ star Chase Crawford. He decided to do a little eavesdropping and, well, he didn’t like what he heard.

‘I hear ... Jonah Hill ... and they both start laughing. I’m the punch line in this guy’s joke. He doesn’t even know I’m at this party,’ Hill said. ‘I’m gonna wring his neck the next time I see him! ... I’d like to see him sing his way out of this one.’

Hill then backpedaled -- slightly. He turned to the camera, as if addressing Morrison directly, and deadpanned, ‘I’m just kidding, you seem like a great guy.’

So, are you Team Hill or Team Morrison? Watch Hill’s two-part meltdown below and decide for yourself.
