Star Wars: The Clone Wars: The animated series returns for a new season (8 p.m. Toon).

Need to Know: The season premiere of the newsmagazine series features reports on the economy; environment and energy; health; national security; and culture (8:30 p.m. KOCE).

Karaoke Battle USA: In the season finale, the singers perform one last time for judges Carnie Wilson, Brian Scott and Joe Levy, who will decide which contestant gets to represent the U.S. at the Karaoke World Championship in Ireland. Joey Fatone hosts (9 p.m. ABC).

20/20: The investigative series returns for a new season (10 p.m. ABC).

Strike Back: An English doctor is kidnapped in Darfur, which forces Scott and Stonebridge (Sullivan Stapleton, Philip Winchester) to form an alliance with a global arms dealer in this new episode (10 p.m. Cinemax).

Roseanne’s Nuts: Roseanne invites family and friends over for a launch party in the unscripted series’ season finale (10 p.m. Lifetime).

MOVIES

The Silence of the Lambs: This 1991 thriller film stars Anthony Hopkins as an imprisoned serial killer and Jodie Foster as an FBI cadet who relies on his help to profile another serial killer. Scott Glenn, Ted Levine and Brooke Smith also star (8 p.m. AMC).

Sweet Karma: Definitely not for kids, this gritty 2009 Canadian-made crime drama stars model-turned-actress Shera Bechard as a mute young Russian woman who infiltrates the underground sex trade in Toronto to avenge her sister’s death. John Tokatlidis, Frank J. Zupancic and Christian Bako also star (10 p.m. Showtime).

SPORTS
