‘Falling Skies’ gets a second season on TNT

The sky will keep falling next year.

‘Falling Skies,’ TNT’s science-fiction drama about the aftermath of an alien invasion, has been renewed for a second season.

The series, which stars Noah Wylie and lists Steven Spielberg among its executive producers, is scheduled to return next summer. It premiered in June and has been drawing solid ratings.
