SUNDAY
“If you guys were the inventors of Facebook, you’d have invented Facebook” from “The Social Network” is our pick in the newly minted best-line-from-a-movie category at the “2011 MTV Movie Awards.” “SNL’s” Jason Sudeikis hosts. (MTV, VH1, 9 p.m.)
Would-be cryptozoologists traipse through America’s backwoods and bayous in hopes of “Finding Bigfoot” — the mythic man-beast also known as Sasquatch — in this new reality series. Do us a favor: Ask him where he buys his shoes. (Animal Planet, 10 p.m.)
MONDAY
It’s every mother’s nightmare — and every medical-malpractice lawyer’s fantasy: Two moms (Constance Marie, Lea Thompson) discover that their teen daughters were actually “Switched at Birth” at the hospital in this new family drama. (ABC Family, 9 p.m.)
TUESDAY
After the return of “White Collar,” USA offers the sophomore-season premiere of “Covert Affairs.” Piper Perabo (above) stars in the latter series, an action-packed espionage drama. (USA, 9 and 10 p.m.)
WEDNESDAY
If you love country music, we reckon you will enjoy watching Toby Keith, the Zac Brown Band, Luke Bryan and a reunited Big & Rich at the “CMT Music Awards 2011.” Rap-rocker Kid Rock returns as host, and duets with Sheryl Crow. (CMT, 8 p.m.)
THURSDAY
Those nostalgic for the 1950s tend to forget about all of the giant insects and other radiation-spawned critters that were a constant threat to mankind’s very existence. A mini-marathon of films that fed this favorite nuclear-age nightmare kicks off with the ant-infested 1954 thriller “Them!” (TCM, 5 p.m.)
FRIDAY
Men make up roughly half of the population, but does anyone even care about what they want, what they like? “Guys Choice” does. This awards show is back for another salute to all things testosterone in the worlds of sports and entertainment. (Spike, 9 p.m.)
SATURDAY
Of men and magic: Nicolas Cage (below) is the sorcerer, which makes “Undeclared’s” Jay Baruchel “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” in this special-effects-laden 2010 fantasy-adventure. And as usual, Mr. Cage’s hair is the most special effect of all. (Starz, 9 p.m.)
