SERIES

CHAOS: The ODS agents are overseas investigating the assassination of a U.S. ally (Branka Katic) on the eve of a presidential election in her country, but when they arrive, they make a surprising discovery (8 p.m. CBS). Another new episode, guest starring Bruce Boxleitner, follows at 9.

Carson Nation: In this new series Carson Kressly travels from town to town doing makeovers (10 p.m. OWN).

Coldplay: Live From Glastonbury: The band performs at the UK festival (10 p.m. VH1).

MOVIES

Mister Roberts: Henry Fonda is cast as the title character, a cargo-ship officer who acts as a buffer between the other crew members and their stern captain (James Cagney) in this 1955 screen version of the stage hit. Jack Lemmon earned an Oscar for his performance as Ensign Pulver (2:45 p.m. TCM).

Swamp Shark: Sharks are scary. Swamps are scary. Put them together, and what have you got? A Saturday night TV movie that is more cheesy than chilling. Robert Davi, Kristy Swanson, D.B. Sweeney and Lauren Graham — no, not the one from “Gilmore Girls” — star (9 p.m. Syfy).

SPORTS

Wimbledon: Men’s and women’s third round (10 a.m. NBC).

College baseball: NCAA World Series (If necessary). (11 a.m. ESPN; 4 p.m. ESPN2).

Golf: Travelers Championship, third round (Noon CBS).

Baseball: The Angels visit the Dodgers (1 p.m. Fox).

Track and field: U.S. Outdoor Championships (2 p.m. NBC).

NASCAR racing: Bucyrus 200 (2:30 p.m. ESPN).

IndyCar racing: Firestone Indy Lights (3:30 p.m. VS); Iowa Corn Indy 250 (5 p.m. VS).

Soccer: Club Deportivo Chivas USA visits the Philadelphia Union (5 p.m. FS Prime).
