“Jackass” star Ryan Dunn was legally drunk at the time of the fatal accident near his home in Pennsylvania that killed him and a passenger early Monday morning, West Goshen police confirmed Wednesday.

Dunn’s blood alcohol level was .196 -- twice the state’s legal limit of .08. The report further indicates that there were “no drugs of abuse detected,” according to the West Goshen Township Police Department.

Speculation of how alcohol came into play in the accident quickly escalated following reports of Dunn’s death after images surfaced of the 34-year-old at a nearby bar.

Dunn and Zachary Hartwell died of blunt and thermal trauma when Dunn’s car flew off the road and burst into flames. Police said Wednesday the reconstruction investigation determined that Dunn’s vehicle was traveling between 132 and 140 miles per hour at the time of the collision. Dunn possessed a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license at the time of the collision.
